"Superb"

The property is spacious, clean and cozy and has a fantastic view of the port and the main town from a small garden perfectly fitted with table and chairs; makes for a wonderful breakfast or wine spot in the evening to watch the sundowner. Its very well equipped, you will find everything you need and the host was super kind to leave water, tea and coffee in advance. There are cats roaming around (its a common thing in the small island) which are very friendly and always happy to come and say hi but don't disturb you during the day. The property stays cool at night even in hot days and host provides AC.

The walk up can get a bit intense when you do it for a few days straight, it is private which is nice but quite up into the hill. The shower in the bathroom could be easily improved by adding glass or curtains so as not to wet the whole floor and allowing you to hang it somewhere on top.

A lovely idyllic basement of a lager house above with wonderful cut stone walls. The views from the patio down to the port and out to sea are stunning.

There are a lot of steps to get to the house, so not for the faint hearted!

"Awesome View."

You either walk or let a donkey take you up the stairs to get there. Either way the view was absolutely worth the walk up. After eating the awesome food in the area the walk up to burn some calories was something I would do over and over again. This was a great place. We loved it!

It was my fault not looking at the text message for George to meet with us. So trying to find it was a geotracking treasure experience.

"Amazing apartment with spectacular views"

A wonderful apartment located 10 minutes uphill from Hydra port. The terrace has an extraordinary view of the town and harbour below. The apartment was perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable, and all amenities were present. The host was very kind and responsive as well.

George and Alcyoni are the perfect hosts. They helped for everything during our stay. Perfect house to stay with great view from the top of the island.

you need to climb to the top. If you are not ready for this you can’t make it.
