Spectacular location - a good drive into the desert, and you can follow the convoy if you have a 4WD car and not as confident driving in yourself. They give a meeting point and time just before the desert, which is very easy to reach. The hotel is a remote location truly showcasing the tranquillity within the desert, but yet somehow having all the facilities you'd need; food, water, enclosed dome with air conditioning, large bathroom and shower with constant good flow of hot water, tea/coffee making facilities with snacks, and even a bug spray! We opted for dinner which had a good selection, as did breakfast. Lovely night's stay at this perfect spot. Highly recommended

N/A - only thing to watch out for is the tyre deflating place that you are taken to before the desert. You aren't charged anything when deflating as I suspect the owners pay for this service, however the shop tell you to come back to the same place the next day/once you are coming back from the desert (you aren't with the convoy on the way back). We went back to the same shop assuming this was part of the service, only to be demanded for money for deflating and inflating the tyres, which posed the question - if I never returned to the place, how will they have been paid for the deflating?! It is small money in the grand scheme of things, but just out of principle we didn't like this approach by the tyre shop. Nothing negative about the hotel itself, but just wanted to highlight to people who may face the same when opting for following the convoy and deflating/inflating tyres. There are plenty of shops that you can get this done from on the way back, and they are all the same price, should you wish to go elsewhere.

The room was well decorated and a spacious room. We had an amazing dinner for 8 OMR per person. We parked our vehicle at the meeting point which was easy to find and took the pickup vehicle for 25 OMR. Lots of activities to choose from. Overall a great experience!

The included breakfast was average. In one of the rooms the water glasses were dirty with a lipstick stain from the previous guests.

The stay was well managed and enjoyable. The property is clean and maintained well. Plenty of options for activities in the desert. The sunset and sunrise are a treat to watch at this property. Dinner buffet was good. Coffee and dessert were being charged additionally in the buffet dinner, they should have been part of the buffet itself. Breakfast was average.

Being in the hospitality industry, the manager of the place needs to be more courteous and humble. We were told, if you are late at the meeting point even by 5 mins, noone will be there to guide you. The same message can be delivered in a better tone. The manager was openly gossiping about their opinion about a certain nationality on how they are cheap or their personal experience has been with them and belittling them infront of guests from other countries which I felt was something they need discuss in their meeting rooms not with visiting guests. They did not realize they might already have guests from the same country amongst them listening to the conversation. This was unprofessional.

abbiamo pernottato la notte di capodanno che solitamente per le strutture è critica, invece di meglio non potevamo aspettarci. Ci sono venuti a prendere in un punto di raccolta comodo e pratico da raggiungere in auto per portarci in questo paradiso in mezzo al deserto. Una bolla (bowl) nel deserto rosso omanita, insieme ad altre strutture di questo tipo. Caffè di benvenuto con cena e colazione internazionali con taglio omanita. La sera di capodanno, pur non essendo una festività sentita lì, hanno organizzato diverse attività come star watching, lancio delle lanterne e fuochi di artificio, per poi finire in una capanna attorno ad un fuoco a sorseggiare the tipico e parlare con gli altri ospiti. Consigliamo il tour nel deserto al tramonto con le jeep, per i bambini il Sand boards, e per i più avventurosi il deltaplano nel deserto (che non abbiamo potuto fare causa vento forte quel giorno). Gentili ospitali e disponibili per ogni esigenza, comoda la possibilità di prenotare le diverse attività messe a disposizione dalla struttura direttamente in loco.

Beautiful destination. Friendly staff. Stargazing was a lot of fun. The conversations around the campfire with all the guests were very enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner were also well-organized. I definitely recommend this accommodation.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich hervorragend. Schon bei der Abholung in Bidiyah haben wir uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Unser Fahrer Yusuf hat uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts begleitet, war immer hilfsbereit und hat uns viele tolle Erlebnisse ermöglicht, wofür wir ihm sehr dankbar sind. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass man in der Unterkunft viele zusätzliche Aktivitäten buchen konnte. Wir haben uns u.a. für Dune Bashing und Paragliding entschieden, wobei Letzteres ein Erlebnis fürs Leben ist. Auch das Essen in der Unterkunft war wirklich sehr gut und vielfältig und das Küchenpersonal sehr freundlich. Wir hatten auch ein wirklich tolles Zimmer. Gerne wären wir noch länger geblieben.
