GBThe room was okay and had facilities such as an iron and ironing board.
When we booked this room it said "free parking". However when we got there we were told it had changed and was now £10 a night, which we had to faff about doing at reception on our phone. We said we thought it was illegal as our contract with them was for free parking but they said we would be fined if we didn't pay. (BTW they are still advertising free parking) Our TV in our room didn't work - we complained at the front desk 3 times but it was never fixed. We were told it was a "server" issue although our friend had no problem with his. We were told we could have another room but only as we were going out on the last day of our visit and it was begrudgingly offered. We had no feedback - we always had to chase it up, All the things like ironing board and rack to put your luggage on were in the wardrobe, so in order to actually hang your clothes up you had to take them all out. We stayed 2 nights. They took our wet towels away but didn't replace them for the next day. They were stingy with the loo roll - no replacement to be had. Normally in a hotel the bar will be open most of the day but this one didn't open until 5pm which wasn't the end of the world but a bit odd, especially as it was a Bank Holiday.

-Location isn’t great if using public transport. Nearest station is like 25 minutes. - The lady at the front desk wasn’t the most pleasant when I had just arrived. - it was hot but the room had no ac or fan

When booking, it was very clear on website parking was free, on arrival was told we had to pay for parking as of 22nd may. We were told booking.com was informed in advance and it was there mistake ?
