Vang Vieng Freedom View Hostel

Breakfast was incredible, and our host was absolutely lovely. I'd go back! Also vang Vieng - location is great if you're looking to be immersed in the wilderness and listen to the many sounds of the forest. Highly recommended!

Central location; good price for a single room

It is quite basic

One of the staff was very kind to answer me even when I ask many times.There's a Landry and transportation service, which are convenient for me.In a day time, it's hot in the room but in a night time is comfortable enough to sleep.Overall I love a big amount of breakfast.

Almost all the staff are not good at speaking English so It's sometime hard to communicate.When I saw my bed,there were tiny bags moving around,and it looked like it had not cleaned yet.Then when I asked a staff to change the bed,he talked to me with an angry face and voice.Later,I found that he always speak like that because he did so to another guests.It makes us feel uncomfortable so he should improve the way of talking.He's at reception in a night time.

There’s a fridge inside the room but you can’t keep it on while you’re not there (the key are sealed to the electricity key)

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Super comfortable beds and an amazing breakfast spread. I can highly recommend stopping by here!

Location is great, right on the mainstreet.

Staff didn't seem to have much interest in helping. Common area is not very social, there is a pool table but no activities. Didn't see anyone using the pool during my stay. There's better private rooms available for the same/better prices elsewhere.
