HOTEL HOLY CITY

Pleasant stay. Room was a bit cold, but enough blankets provided. Staff was friendly and hospitable. Clean and tidy hotel. Location was very convenient for Golden Temple.

The staff here went out of their way to make certain our stay was excellent. They watch out for their guests. The location is proximate to the great historic and religious sites of Amritsar.

The location is generally inaccessible by taxi, on a narrow street that is busy with traffic late into the night, so the sounds of horns is omnipresent until after midnight.

The hotel is just 100m away from Golden Temple Complex

The staff and the location (being so close to Golden Temple) were the big positive. Extremely helpful staff, who are always eager to assist you. One of the thoughtful hotels that keeps a mop in the bathroom to keep it dry!!! The hotel is close to the temple, Jalianwalan bagh, and many of the iconic eating places etc.

There is very little not to like. One of our rooms did not have a window! That's the only negative thing I can think of.

The only USP of this place is its location which is quite near to the golden temple.

Facilities not available as mentioned at the time of booking. No TV, kettle in the room, booking was for double occupancy but only 1 towel, dental kit provided. Staff ignored the requests. No blanket was provided at night even after request. No in house restaurant. Room service o nly for tea.
