GBThe hosts were very friendly and helpful, Hanako collected me from the bus stop and drove me back the next day! I got to eat homemade dinner with both of them which was very yummy! The location is so beautiful and there’s a yummy cake shop just a 1 minute walk away. The guesthouse itself is quite small but the room given is very large and comfortable.

FRGreat vegan food mornings and evenings, hosted by lovely people with a nice dog. The opportunity to get ayurvedic massages was fantastic too. Tokagushi is great for forest hiking in summer.
No shops around in Tokagushi, so you depend on restaurants for lunch time or you have to come with your food bought in Nagano. This is not really a problem for a few days but better be aware of it. Also this is the forest hence be ready to meet mosquitos.
