My room was exposed for observation, so I needed to keep the curtains closed. Value is so-so. I moved to a slightly simpler hotel for half the price.

Review for Octa Canggu As someone who has been traveling to Bali multiple times a year for the past 15 years, I have a deep appreciation for the hospitality and warmth that the island is known for. Unfortunately, my experience at Octa Canggu fell far below the standard I have come to expect. While the property appears appealing in its description, many of the facilities and services were misrepresented. From the outset, there were shortcomings that I addressed in depth with the manager, yet little improvement followed. For instance, despite assurances, my room was cleaned irregularly and at random intervals. This lack of consistency was frustrating, and the hygiene standards of the cleaning staff left much to be desired. The one bright spot in my stay was the young Balinese gentleman who checked me in on the late evening of December 21st. He was the only staff member who consistently smiled, greeted guests warmly, and genuinely made an effort to provide good service. His approach stood in stark contrast to the general lack of attentiveness I experienced from the rest of the team. Despite raising my concerns and expressing a desire to leave the property early, the owners were unwilling to offer any flexibility due to my non-refundable reservation. While I understand the policy, their rigid stance—essentially allowing me to forfeit over $500 worth of unused stay without any consideration for my dissatisfaction—was disappointing and reflected poorly on their customer care. Adding to the frustration, I reached out to Booking.com customer support, hoping they would intervene or mediate the situation. Unfortunately, I was left completely on my own, at the mercy of a business that misrepresents its services and seemed indifferent to addressing legitimate guest concerns. The lack of support from Booking.com compounded the issue, leaving me feeling trapped in an unsatisfactory situation with no viable resolution.

I had a fantastic stay! The staff were amazing—so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool was absolutely stunning, perfect for relaxing. The facilities overall were top-notch. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay!

This is one of the newest hotels in the Canggu area, situated right in the heart of Canggu, yet in a quieter spot that's more comfortable for families with toddlers. The room is spacious, spotless, and even the towels are soft and fragrant. The balcony offers a beautiful view, and the rates are very reasonable. There's also a workspace with a nice view. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was very welcoming. We loved everything about this place!
