The Bedford Inn

A lovely deluxe room, modern and nicely decorated. Free parking is available on the street behind, and Wi-Fi worked well.

The TV setup was slightly confusing but everything worked.

Not overlooked, near town and harbour, quiet, v reasonable price, no kitchen available when we visited but that was reflected in price so not worried. Friendly staff.

Didn’t dislike anything, but had to ask for milk, hairdryer and extra teabags. Bottle of water and glasses would have been nice.

The quality of the decor in the room. The bar and outside space was pleasant. The manager Sam was very helpful. There was a good local bus service to the centre. The wines were good value and quality.

There is no breakfast - had to get food from the nearby petrol station. The hotel was supposed to be open until 1230 am, but last orders in the bar were called 1000 hrs! The temperature control on the shower was broken. Towels were old and washed out. The restaurant was almost empty and consisted of beef or chicken burgers. We therefore went out for dinner.
