Into the Mystic

I cannot say enough about Into the Mystic to explain how fantastic it is! I am almost loathe to write a review in fear that this absolute gem becomes over-subscribed. The location is superb: at the end of a row of old fishing cottages, right on the water's edge, with nothing and no one intruding on the tranquility. The bed was luxurious, the living room spacious and the kitchen very well-equipped, all making the most of the fantastic view. Although we were there during winter, we were able to enjoy sunsets outside before retreating into the cosy cottage, warmed by the fire, which we preferred to the gas heater provided. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back on our next visit to South Africa for a longer stay!

Some firewood and fire-starter would have been appreciated, but we were able to purchase these in town. This is only our preference to the gas heater and certainly didn't detract from the amazing stay.

Fantastic location right at the ocean and away from the noise of the town. Lovely interior design. The kitchen has everything one needs, and the cottage is best prepared for load shedding (that's the name for the scheduled power outages in SA).

There was nothing not to like.

One of the most beautiful cottages I have ever stayed in. The unit was kitted out perfectly with luxury furnishings and amenities. The hosts were always available for queries or concerns. The view was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I specifically enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the sunrises and sunsets. We were completely smitten with the place and did not want to leave.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. Value for your money!

The best view and place if you want tranquility. It was very peaceful.

Loadshedding.

This was a 10 day stay and we loved it. Serene and private... really peaceful surroundings and tranquil environment....except for the odd bypasser that was abusing the private property beach access to sell crayfish or kids begging for food. Self catering with a view.

Actually only the weather...funny that the best weather is always on day of departure.

The location by the sea is in unbeatable.

Figuring out the water temperature in the shower was a bit tricky but didn't affect the enjoyment of our stay.
