O Nosso Recanto

The apartment is fantastic. The bedrooms are good sized with plenty of wardrobe space and storage. The living room is huge with a comfortable sofa, plenty of space for relaxing, along with a large dining table. And the kitchen is also great with all the appliances you need. The apartment was also clean, felt quite fresh/new, and is finished to a good standard. The location is great too, with everything Machico has to offer (including the beaches) within a 5 minute walk, and it's also the ideal starting location for a variety of hikes and running routes. The balcony is also a nice extra feature, with access from both the living room and one of the bedrooms. Also good wifi speeds and plenty of variety on the TV including smart channels/features.

As a very minor point, we found the pillows to be quite hard so maybe some additional softer pillows would have been good - but really, that just comes down to personal preference. The apartment is great and there's nothing not to like. We'd love to stay again.

The location is unbeatable, well equipped kitchen, nice terrace area to sit in the evenings. If you hire a car (which I would recommend) just be aware that there is no parking with the property - however there is free parking nearby (c. 5 mins walk) and Machico felt very safe so we had no reservations about leaving the hire car. We highly recommend Machico and O Nosso Recanto for a relaxed stay!

Fabulous 2 bedroom apartment located very near the old centre of town,just down a few side streets to the lovely sandy beach,restaurants,bars,church,walks,seafront promenade.Lovely open plan dining area leads out onto a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table ,perfect for that first cup of coffee or late night vino.The apartment is very spacious with 2 bedrooms (double bed in both )with plenty of storage space,bathroom with shower and toilet (no bath),fully equipped kitchen with kettle,toaster,fridge/freezer,full hob/oven,washing machine,dish washer,microwave,coffee maker.Everything you need for a perfect holiday stay is here. Pingo Doce supermarket & bakery is only a few minutes walk away.The owner is very responsive to messages and even allowed for a late check out,thank you!

Beach towels would be great if provided as very bulky to pack in suitcase. Also a litre bottle of water for late night arrivals when shops are closed.

Muy bien ubicado, con supermercado, panaderías y restaurantes a pocos minutos caminando. La playa está a unos 5 minutos caminando. El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y moderno. Disponía de utensilios para cocinar.

La cama y las almohadas eran bastante incómodas. Estaría bastante bien que dejaran cosas básicas como gel de ducha, aceite, azúcar o incluso detergente para la lavadora (quería lavar las toallas porque se mojaron en la lluvia y no había detergente así que nos fue imposible).

Świetne miejsce na bazę wypadową na wschodnią część Madery. Wszystko co potrzebne jest w mieszkaniu. Kuchnia, pralka full wypas. Parking ppd domem głównie zajęty, ale tuż za rzeką jest bezpłatny i są miejsca, to 5 minut marszu: tym bardziej wygodnie, że przez jeden z supermarketów po drodze.

To nie duża wada, ale trochę herbaty, kawy, soli, cukru, oliwy lub oleju mogłoby być w kuchni, bo gdy przyjedziesz wieczorem, to łatwiej zacząć wypoczynek. Żeby nie wyglądało, że to stare można oznaczyć grupę: "for you".

Très bonne localisation au centre ville de Machico, près de la plage et des commerces. Arrêt de bus très proche pour l'aéroport (5-10 min), Funchal ou l'est de l'île. Logement propre et bien équipé, dans un immeuble calme.
