Very pleasant apartment. Roomy, comfortable and well equipped. 3 minutes walk from beach, near to everything. Good interaction with host.

Great location in a less visited part of Madeira, close to the airport. Bus, restaurants and shops nearby. Large, comfortable apartment with fully equipped kitchen.

A key to the building entrance that did not work. The building manager could not make it work either and was kind enough to give us his. Otherwise we would never have gotten into the building. The owner’s response to our request for a new key was, “It’s the best one I have.”! We also wanted a hair dryer, which is standard, but the owner would not provide one, saying one had been stolen by a guest previously. A kind neighbor loaned us one for a day. We would never return because of the key situation. The living room is sparsley furnished with only a couch.
