Squirrel's Nest

The room was clean and cozy, the bathroom was clean but there was no hot water. The host was very friendly and helpful but the English was a bit poor. The breakfast was big and delicious.

Location! We had huge problems reaching the location, the tuktuk driver had to converse for 10 minutes with the owner when we finally reached the location after 45 minutes.

Everything about the homestay beginning with the warm & welcoming hosts and including the wholesome & tasty breakfast they served, was wonderful.

While the homestay itself is set in the center of and surrounded by breathtaking nature, getting to & from there can be a bit challenging but the hosts were very helpful in assisting us call a tuk-tuk when required.

Great view, nice persons, and a private space on a hill. A lot of nature but also very close to the city center

The host is super nice, the room with the terrace is spacious and very nice, the view on the nature is grrat and ideal to have a break from the noisy city. Breakfast was local and very good.

The location is a bit far out the city, but that makes it super quiet which is enjoyable compare to the noisy city, and it's not that far /expensive by tuktuk

It was the most comfortable place where I stayed in all of my trip in sri lanka. The room was very modern, clean and had an amazing view of the garden and mountains. The two women who live there were very helpful and kind, gave me an amazing breakfast. It was a perfect place to rest and enjoy kandy for 3 days.

This place is wonderful, definitely my favorite stay in Sri Lanka!  Location: I loved it! It's in a very peaceful area, not far from the city center, with an amazing garden full of colorful plants and trees and the sound of birds that makes you feel like in a jungle in the center of Kandy!  Room: The room was very spacious and clean, with a lot of small details that really make the difference (ex: a kettle, some cutlery, a clothesline, a mini fridge, etc.).  The bathroom has a real shower! (with a shower box). Breakfast: all the food was delicious, and the best part is the fresh fruit from the garden, especially the super tasty star fruit juice! I'll keep dreaming about it for the rest of my life!  Host: Lilani and Susila are two amazing women, they are so strong and interesting, and most of all, they have a very big heart!
