Squirrel's Nest

Huge room with a really big private terrace and the beautiful view of Kandy surrounded by mountains! Our stay was more than just perfect! There was also a garden in the property with so many different plants which our sweet host explained to us! The room also had a well equipped kitchen! The shower was one of the best ones I saw on my Sri Lanka trip. The breakfast served was a really yummy home cooked meal! Our host was really nice and helpful at anything and anytime we needed! Everything was spotlessly clean like a newly built property!

Large room with a lovely view, the owners are Lo Ely and were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast is massive and very delicious! It’s about a 30 min walk to the city centre but only 10 mins in a tuk tuk. There are also some nice restaurants and bars within walking distance too.

Everything about this accommadation was exceptional. The facilities were excellent and the hosts could not have been better. The breakfasts were superb.

There was nothing I didn't like about this accomadation. Everything was first class.

Arriving to this accommodation felt like arriving in paradise 😍 the view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful! The room itself is huge and super clean! But what I loved the most was the family! They are so heartwarming and caring! Even their cute dog spent some time with me on the balcony chilling 🙂 the accommodation is a bit away from the Main Street. But you can take the steps down, a short cut through the garden. Within 5 minutes you’ll be at the Main Street where you can find restaurants and supermarkets. Never had a problem to get a Tuk Tuk back up!

Nothing, it was perfect!

Room was ok, but only for a short stay. It was spacious with a nice terrace and small bathroom. Basic but very good breakfast.

The room and bathroom were not the cleanest, there was hair on the bed and floor. The wardrobe was dirty and the fridge had a really bad smell. The view is nice but location is hard to find. Also it was cold during night (in November at least). There are only transparent curtains and not much intimacy.

The breakfast was excellent and the location perfect. The lady in charge of the accomadation was a superb hostess.

There nothing that I did not like about this accomadation.

Very friendly staff, they lend us an umbrella, very helpful. Spacious room, delicious breakfast.

Sometimes challenging to communicate with the limited English

We had a lovely big room with a balcony all the way across. The host was very nice and made a great breakfast for us each morning. She even packed breakfast for to bring on our hike.

The view was spectacular! We really enjoyed the lovely garden, the good vibes and the hosts (two lovely sisters) we‘re the cutest we met on our trip! The room was very clean and we felt welcome and comfortable from the start. On top, they provided a huge and delicious breakfast. Couldn’t wish for more! If u are in the area and looking for a quiter space, thats the one for you!
