Cosy seaside town cottage with private garden

Great location with plenty of parking around town. The house was cosy with a lovely Master bedroom.

Would be even better if there was a radio as we like to avoid watching TV.

Location was great. Cardigan is a beautiful place and the town centre is within meters of the cottage which is perfect. The cottage has great potential if it wasn't for the cleanliness issue. It was very disappointing.

The cottage was not clean. It wasn't just that it hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival, it was clear that it had not been cleaned properly for a while. The bedding appeared to be clean, but the mattress protector on one of the single beds was badly stained and the mattresses themselves were covered in dirt and debris. There was a layer of thick dust on most surfaces and there appeared to be no effort at all put into the upkeep of the cottage. It was a real shame. Inside the fridge was filthy and the cooker was full of old bits of food and grease. The garden was a bit of a shambles with litter on the patio and just not generally very tidy. Parking also needs to be addressed more clearly in the listing for the cottage. I've been visiting Cardigan for many years and was well aware that my estate car would not navigate the lane to park by the property. My Son's little Clio did manage to get up the lane, but it was still not easy. I took pictures which show the problem more clearly. Central location and cosy property, clean and comfortable

Cardigan was lovely and the cottage is in an excellent location - very central, and free parking (though limited and awkward). The bedrooms were nice and the cottage provided most of what we needed. The welcome book was very comprehensive and useful. The maintenance man and cleaner were very friendly and helpful.

Some basic things had been overlooked before our arrival - there was no toilet roll or washing up sponge, and the house wasn't hoovered. The hosts did ensure that toilet roll was delivered though and they arranged for someone to come to hoover. It didn't seem like the cottage had been properly checked since the previous guests checked out, with a vape left on a bedroom bookshelf. One of the door knobs (twin bedroom) was very loose and came off. The house smelt a little of damp, and there were dehumidifiers to try to deal with this. The bath/shower isn't sealed properly, resulting in leaks. With some maintenance, it would be a lovely cottage for a mini break in Cardigan.

The cottage was very comfortable, prime location for everything in Cardigan. Relaxing time, restaurants, cafes, pubs minutes away. The little lane cottage is located on is quaint and pretty

The location was really good and the cottage has everthing we needed. It was very clean and tidy.

It was such a lovely cottage, everything you needed home from home. Private garden, plenty of space inside and central location in cardigan. Highly recommended defo will be booking to stay again.
