Cosy seaside town cottage with private garden

Fantastic location just off the high street. Clean comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Well equipped kitchen. Information pack was great. Quirky cottage with lovely original features.

Very damp smell especially downstairs and in the kitchen. Needs a good dusting too, though all work surfaces were clean. Fridge was dirty inside. Anti slip mat in bath was mouldy. Cupboards not usable in bedroom- musty and no hanging space. No stair gate or door to basement steps which made me nervous staying with young children. Full length mirror would be helpful. Garden not safe for young children.

Central location was great. The space was really nice, and got better the further up you went. Very well equipped with everything needed for a week's stay.

Going down to the basement to get to the garden was a bit of a pain, but not that big a problem.

Great location for both walks, river and shops. I loved the cottage location in a narrow street full of character

Lovely cottage to stay in, in the centre of cardigan bay. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Location perfect, especially as we are an older couple without a car. Near shops, riverside walks, chapel and general amenities. The hosts had made the effort to type up details of things and places of interest. In most places there are just a load of leaflets, some out of date, but these hosts made more effort to give comprehensive information. The top floor double bedroom is a lovely space.

We have to be honest and say that whilst there is a sunny outside space, it can hardly be called a garden! Half of it was broken paving stones riddled with weeds and half artificial grass with picnic table. A little effort and ongoing minimal maintenance would make this a lovely space. As an older couple we found the steep shallow stairways difficult. These are totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Very convenient for the town centre and local bus services. Had adequate facilities for 2 adults. Bedrooms and bathroom were fine.

Parking is very awkward but other than that it was ok at the price paid.

The location was excellent. The little garden was a suntrap. The house in general was good. Could just do with a few essentials as described below.

There were no mirrors in either bedroom and we had to go out and buy one. No coat hangers in wardrobe. No clothes line or airer. Pegs were provided but no where to dry clothes outside.

Excellent location, right in the middle of town, quiet street, comfy clean cottage. Car parking was fine for me nearby. I would definitely bring my family here in the summer...

Warm and cozy. Extremely well equipped. Very quiet considering in town centre. Close to all amenities. Y-fen Printworks nearby is a great place to eat and 2 min walk away from Castle. Quay car park 5 mins away, 24hr parking for £3.30.

Lack of mirrors and bathroom mats.
