Unfortunately, there were three construction sites operating at the same time. I arrived on Nyepi Day, so everything was quiet at first as they were all on holiday. However, I had to leave 12 days before my scheduled check-out because I couldn’t tolerate the constant noise from 7–8am until 9:15pm every single day, including weekends. I understand this wasn’t the owner’s fault (as he mentioned), but excellent customer service would have been to refund the 12 unused nights. Unfortunately, Booking.com only refunded a small portion in credits, not actual money, which was quite disappointing. Also, there was no staff present at night. While the area is generally safe, I would have felt more comfortable with 24/7 staff on-site, as many other guesthouses offer.

We loved this place, the rooms were so comfortable and I had the best night sleep in a long time. Location was ideal but a little hidden to find at first. Best of all was the staff, they were so polite and helpful I couldn’t praise them enough!

It was clean, great location, separate shower to toilet

Its surrounded by construction, would recommend that they get some sheer white privacy curtains so the workers cannot see in during the day. There are black out curtains but that makes it really dark
