The Last Resort Hostel

The location is fantastic. Markets and several bars and restaurants are nearby. Without a doubt, it couldn't be better for a backpacker. The port is also very close, making life easier for those who intend to venture on lake cruises and sports boat trips.

In reality, there's nothing I can point to as a complaint. Sam, who was in charge of the organization, was always cheerful and helpful, assisting me with the small problems that arose during my stay.

Good location

The building has no noise barrier. The noise resonates through the whole building. Especially if your room is located under the community room.

A great hostel in Queenstown. Central location and a quiet stay. Dorms are basic but clean. Good showers and kitchen facilities.

Access is a little tricky, we arrived by bike so a bit of carrying them over the bridge and up steps but not too much of an issue. There was someone sleeping in the common area, possibly a member of staff. This was a bit of a pain when trying to make breakfast in a common area.
