Villa Gaya Ubud

The villa is fairly new and very clean. It’s a building that combines modern design and local elements, which makes the stay very comfortable.

There seems to be some local people who help and guard the villa, however they usually stay in group in front of the villa and talk a bit, which makes guests feel safe, but sometimes it could be loud, and can be heard from the bedrooms.

The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and neat and clean

The location is poor. To get to the villa is a long trek down a narrow lane with bags. When you get to the villa, you walk around the house through a poorly maintained pathway and garden. The pathway is a trip hazard.The kitchen is tiny and outside. It is very poorly maintained, and the utensils are poor. The outdoor seating is old and dated as is the kitchen area. The pool is wonderfully situated but poorly kept. Sadly, it is not a place that I would recommend.

Everything! The communication on the lead up to our stay was fantastic and continued throughout. Our hosts treated us like family and were so attentive and helped make our stay a wonderful experience. The villa itself looks exactly like the pictures on Booking.com so you'll know what you get before arriving. It really is a little oasis in the middle of a very busy place and you feel miles from everywhere (which your not as everything is a short walk). I couldn't recommend this property and the team here enough, they are fantastic and we would happily stay here again!

This property was perfect for a group of friends to travel too. Great location .. beautifully finishes ..comfortable beds and the staff were beyond amazing . What a great stay.

Amazing serene oasis in the hustle and bustle of Ubud. I was pleasantly surprised to find a French press for coffee, mozzie repellent, drinking water dispenser, and well equipped kitchen on arrival. Pool was a decent size and depth, rooms extremely spacious and comfortable seating spaces and beds. Walking distance from Pelitan palace where you can watch traditional dances in the evening, Ubud city centre, Monkey forest and lovely little warungs on the street. But best of all was the beautiful staff who tended to our every need, cooked wonderful breakfasts, and indulged our questions on Balienese culture, and so welcoming, making it truly feel like home. Thank you for the wonderful stay, and I would definitely book again.

Beautiful and stylish, in a lush green setting. Wayan was so friendly and personable, and cooked us a delicious breakfast each day.
