A good option for an overnighter at Gatwick in case of early morning flights. It was a good last minute price and easy access with public transport from the airport. Tea coffee and fridge in the room helped. Generally an older guest house and needs upkeep but still a good option to stay a few hours for an early flight and friendly staff.
The room didn't have any windows. The bathroom entrance has a higher step against which one could easily hurt their feet, happened to me. The TV barely showed any channels and I wish they'd invest in a proper service . The general upkeep of this place needs some adjustments, very old fan, carpeting etc. The room was on the ground floor. And the lights in the hallway were visible. Also I'd have preferred a higher floor for safety considerations since the door and locks seem quite simple.

The staff member was friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable.
Not much parking. Fire doors closed insufficiently. Fire doors below safely standards.

Close vicinity to North terminal Gatwick Airport, accessible via bus to the airport.
The room we stayed in need improvement on the following; the mains outlet for kettle and TV seems to be sharing, to use the kettle you have to remove the plug for TV, otherwise move the kettle somewhere else where there is mains. The sliding door going out to the back is a good feature, but the lawn is now covered with tall grass, so didn't matter at all.
