The Salt Locker

This was our first time visiting Porthleven and we would definitely recommend this apartment! We loved the location of the property it was right where you needed to be. It was within walking distance of everything! The bed was comfortable and clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There was an iron and a hairdryer which was very handy. The shower was good too. The biscuits were a nice touch upon arrival! The communication between the owner was clear and helpful if I had any questions regarding our stay.

There isn’t a car park for the apartment but there is one a short walk away which you have to pay for, luckily we got a spot each time. One thing I would suggest is in the summer months to provide more fans in the apartment as it got very hot in there and one fan didn’t make the room any cooler.

The location is excellent, a short stroll to the harbour and eating places. Close to a public carpark. Communication was good with the owner

Everything you could ever imagine needing was available such as an iron and hairdryer. Perfect location.

Needs a bigger recycling bin

This large, well-appointed apartment is centrally located. Access was easy. The bed was comfortable, the shower was clean and functional.

There was no hot water connected in the kitchen, I had to use the plastic bowl in the sink and add boiling water to wash the dishes.

Incredibly comfortable, very well equipped and the perfect location. Had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

Salt locker is in close vicinity to the harbour and pubs / restaurants and a few shops. Apartment was very clean and tidy when we arrived and is situated right above a chippy and next door a pizza restaurant/ takeaway highly recommended. In the apartment there is a walk in shower bathroom all very modern.1 bedroom with a double bed with a memory foam mattress and two memory foam pillows.( Could do with two more pillows). Nice kitchen diner with a table,two seater sofa and a chair. Overall very satisfied with the salt locker.highly recommended 👍

Please put up some signs for the rubbish and what bin and where to put it. Maybe 2 more pillows for the double bed.

The location to the centre of Porthleven was great. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Our own little bolt hole in Porthleven.

The hot water in the kitchen was a bit temperamental at times, but it was not really that much of a problem.
