Ho provato più volte a telefonare alla struttura per chiedere info, ma dopo 6 (sei) tentativi in giorni diversi, ho dovuto rinunciare, non rispondono ! Carenti le informazioni per come raggiungere la reception, si va a tentativi e dopo aver fatto tre piani (ripidi) a piedi con le valigie, ridiscendo e chiedo al ristorante dell’hotel che mi rimanda in un altro edificio. Per trovare la camera, occorre munirsi di intuito e fortuna in quanto ci sono cartelli con i numeri delle camere scritte in piccolo e anche nascoste , infatti altri ospiti come noi, erano “indispettiti” per la scarsa informazione !

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Mont-Saint-Michel, allowing us to experience the island when it becomes quiet after most tourists leave. The evening atmosphere was truly magical. The room was clean, and the staff was welcoming. A memorable experience that we would happily recommend.

Le Check in très bien organisé à l’hostellerie Saint Michel, à la caserne. Et transport en voiture jusqu’à la conciergerie où nous avons laissé nos bagages. Chambre maison rouge bien mais très bruyante (soufflerie du restaurant)

Rapport qualité / prix (on paye vraiment le nom et la réputation mais on le sait à l’avance)

Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer ist spektakulär (diese bezahlt man auch mit dem hohen Zimmerpreis). Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und frisch.

Negativ war, dass es keine Hilfsmittel oder Personen gab, die einem beim Hochtragen der Koffer, über die vielen Treppenstufen, geholfen hätten. Auch fanden wir keine Notiz darüber, dass sehr viele Treppenstufen zu bewältigen seien, in der Buchungsinformation. Auch negativ empfanden wir, dass es im Zimmer Teppich gab (unhygienisch). Die beiden Stühle im Zimmer wiesen Flecken auf.

Das Essen im Restaurant war eine Abfertigung Die Spezialomlette konnte nur auf insistieren geteilt werden. Zu gross für eine Person. Essen war knapp mittelmässig und der Preis saumässig hoch. Keine Empfehlung

Great location, fabulous views

There are 3 buildings - Property our room was in was a bit tired - meal in restaurant rather overpriced - watch them cooking the omelette but pay 1/4 price up the road ! Though the dining room itself was great, fabulous ambiance of years gone by - that is what you are paying for !
