Historic Modern Uptown Home ll

The location is perfect, 15 minutes from everything we wanted to do. Quick drive thru coffee just around the corner and also had friendly neighborhood cats that hung out on the porch/sidewalk.

The shower head didn't work properly. It leaked severely and sprayed everywhere, making it difficult to shower. The bed slats were also broken, which we didn't realize until the next morning, which explains why we sunk to the center of the bed.

I emailed to ask about bag storage and never got a reply. There was no coffee pot. There was a filthy chaise longe. Cobwebs near the ceiling. The bathtub clogged. The shower head didn’t fit the wall mount. The shower head hose leaked. The mailbox was brimming over with mail. The TV remote didn’t work.

The space.

It wasn't ready when I arrived around 1:49pm, Holes in the floor that you could see the ground underneath, front door didn't lock and was able to pop it open with a card, used condom wrapped in the extra blanket, water from the shower head runs outside the tub and down the wall that the floor was soaked, it's conditioned like a boarding house therefore someone lived up stairs who left the door open all night which exposed the door to my unit. I was so uncomfortable, I took a nap and got my family up at 4 in the morning to drive 8 hours back to FL.

Blocks away from where I used to live as a resident of NOLA. Super familiar and easy. Coffee nearby, stores, etc.

Not much to say about things I didn't like

The comforter was warm but thin,only 1 drying towel

It was a big old house, which made it appealing to me. The appliances were old and not entirely working, the coffee machine didn’t work. The space was dusty and same with the furniture.

It didn’t look anything like the pictures! It was a totally different space, bigger but not clean at all and the location didn’t look very safe. A man followed me to ask for money while I was walking to the nearest supermarket. There was also a locked door at the back of the space which made me feel uncomfortable, there were no locks in the property, only keys.
