Sea Breeze Guest House Negombo Beach & Airport

The location is great, and I'm sure the other rooms are better equipped. A friend of mine had a private room, and it looked great. While the lack of air conditioning was hard, the fans did work, and that was good. However, I stayed in the female dorm and my negative feedback is about that experience.

The female dorm was incredibly hot - like the walls baked in the day, and there was no breeze. When I first arrived, there were yellow stains on my pillow and mattress. The staff changed these sheets at my request. My biggest concern was that there was nowhere to lock your bag away, and the door to the dorm did not lock. I felt quite vulnerable at night and was not comfortable leaving my belongings in the unlocked room during the day.

Located near the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants, cafés, and bars. Rooms are very tidy, service is professional, and the owner is friendly and always available via WhatsApp. The airport is just 15 minutes away.
