The Old Surgery, Central cosy cottage in the heart of Whitby

Close proximity to everything clean and tidy everything you need to make your stay just perfect.my wife said she could easily live here.

The only down side was because the windows are single glazed.this can make it easy to hear outside noise which isn't the fault of the owners.

Well finished accommodation near to the centre. Well equipped kitchen although we only breakfasted in. Comfy bed and good shower room. All in all a nice stay !

If you're going to Whitby don't expect flat streets. Ground floor bedroom next to the street with low ceiling so you can hear those above.

It was a very well thought out, very spacious, lovely decor, very well equipped, plenty of storage, and very close to some lovely shops, cafes etc. W managed to park nearby too.

The only thing we can fault was the entry system, it was very hard to see the numbers to key in the code. Would probably be better at eye level.

The cottage was in a great location near the centre of the town. It was very comfortably furnished and well-equipped with everything that we needed - especially in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the whole cottage was clean. Communication with Lee before the stay was great. The only negatives were that the shower screen leaked and due to the position of the cottage there was very little natural light but then we weren't there much during the day. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.

Super warm and cosy, and really close to shops and the harbour. Little extras provided were really thoughtful and our stay was really lovely

The location was perfect. The Old Surgery is a lovely place.

The grout in the bathroom is mouldy.

Digi-lock code for entrance could be reused by previous occupants. Sounds from upstairs apartment, whenever they move. Thursday morning wake up - 7:30 window cleaner’s machine vibrating outside, 7:45 bin wagon reversing down street.
