Guest Suite in Porthleven With Private Garden

It was modern ,well equipped and very clean with a separate private garden.

Location was further from the sea than expected but not a great problem

Comfortable bed. Good power shower. Well equipped kitchen. Short walk to the town, harbour. Nice owners, and thank you for the milk and biscuits. A small garden, which was needed for the dog. Bowls and some biscuits are provided for the dog, which is very thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay .

Shame you could not let the dog out straight into the garden area, as you had to walk round to it, but not too much of a hassle. Flimsy kitchen utensils were not great when trying to stir a chilli!! Need an anti slip bath mat as hubby stepped out of the shower, and the mat slipped underneath him. I have fed these two issues back to the owners.

Very comfortable, everything we needed. Very close to the town we didn't use the car once. Jo was very friendly

The Penolver suite had all what we needed during our stay. - A perfect getaway. We arrived and hosts Jo and Matt thought of everything we could need, from all the self-catering necessities for our stay and even some lovely complementary scones on our arrival! The bed was delightfully soft and cosy, a perfect nights sleep. During our stay, we were checked in on to make sure all was ok and we were warm enough. The rainfall shower was perfect for a refreshing start to the morning with the feel of relaxing luxury. I will certainly be booking to come back here. Thank you Jo and Matt for your hospitality 🥰

The extra touches of scones and birthday balloons for my husband. Jo was extremely attentive and helpful during our stay.We could not fault the cleanliness.

The location was a bit out of the village and not very scenic.

Super dog friendly, even leaving out bowls and treats. Lovely mince pies with clotted cream and mulled wine left out for us and Christmas decorations up. Jo was so easy to communicate with and was there for any questions.

The reserved space had someone else parked there for one of the nights, however, I’m sure had there been no where else to park, Jo would have asked them to move if we’d needed. The only other thing I didn’t like was not being able to stay longer!

Lovely well appointed property short walk down into Porthlevan, with access to parking just outside the property. Very clean Jo, the owner had thoughtfully left mulled wine mince pies and cream and even thought to leave biscuits and bowls for our dog. Felt very relaxed and welcome. We absolutely love Porthlevan, and 2 days was not enough time to enjoy this lovely area of Cornwall we will be back.

Nothing all perfect fir our stay.

The property had everything we needed. It was private, being joined to the main house was not a problem. There is a well looked after private garden for your use should you like. The property has been tastefully done. It was spotlessly clean throughout. Jo went above and beyond as a host. Not to leave Matt out, we meet him too and was lovely, they were very informative about the area. We both slept really well, we highly recommend this property.

Absolutely everything! Location was ideal, the suite was immaculate and an ideal size, the hosts were so incredibly thoughtful (they couldn’t do enough for us) and everything possibly needed was provided! We instantly felt so at home and incredibly safe which is so important

If I had to give a criticism I’d say that the curtains were slightly too small in that they didn’t shut all the way but that didn’t ruin our stay and we still enjoyed
