Sorrento Home Pool family BIG appartament in Sorrento center

it was perfectly out of the center so it was quiet but just an easy walk. it was clean and super big. enough space for 8 girls all getting ready and we made dinner.

the neighbors are very aggressive about the littlest noise after 10:15

It is a big apartment and accessible to restaurants and grocery stores. We were able to cook and use the washing machine.

It smelled “old” and musty , we had to buy spray to alleviate the odor. You will need your own toiletries as they were not enough for 7 people. The owner came late for us to enter the apartment.

Our group of six girls arrived in Sorrento to find that our host had completely disappeared. The day before check-in, he claimed the roof had caved in but promised us another place across the road. When we arrived, he stopped responding entirely — leaving us stranded in a foreign city with nowhere to stay. Hours later, he finally admitted he didn’t actually have another property for us. We were left scrambling to find last-minute accommodation, which was extremely stressful and expensive. Completely unacceptable behaviour and a nightmare experience. Booking.com should seriously reconsider allowing this host on their platform.

The apartment was clean and roomy for the 5 of us. The location was good and it was easy for us to find our way around Sorrento and area.

On arrival at Napoli International airport we messaged the owner and they met us at the apartment to handover the keys, talk us through facilities and ensure we were settled, very warm welcome received. Throughout our stay the hosts (Miglena and Valerio) were available via text and WhatsApp, they checked in on us several times during our stay which was very thoughtful. On the first day the kettle overflowed (my son informs me this was a 'mother issue' rather than a flaw with the apartment) but a replacement kettle was produced (just in case) - great service. The apartment is in a fabulous location, less than 10 mins walk to the train station and 15 minutes to Sorrento centre, a great location for exploring the Amafi coast. There is a EuroSpar close by and a number of supermarches within a 15 minute walk. Sorrento in itself is fabulous - we visited Pompei, Positano, Capri and Naples, all trips were very much enjoyed by the whole family (7 of us in total). Public transport is regular but there are several bus companies which can make catching a bus confusing. The apartment is large, 3 bedrooms (2 double and 2 single beds) and a double sofa bed in the living area, three balconies and great air conditioning. There are two large bathrooms and plenty of towels and bedding available. The kitchen is well resourced with cooking utensils, however with many fabulous restaurants (on the same street we tried a few which were outstanding) we tended to have breakfast and lunch only in the apartment. The pool is excellent, a deep area but still able to stand for 3/4 of it. Cold(ish) water but this was needed in August temperatures. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this apartment for families and larger groups.

The pool area did not have sun loungers for apartment users to avail of (private for residents only). Chairs are provided to sit by the pool. As there are residents in this complex, we received several requests to keep the noise down (kids playing in the pool during siesta time which was our fault), one downstairs neighbour was challenging requesting us to to stop moving chairs and walking in the apartment but the host (Miglena) sorted this for us with no hassle. I would encourage the apartment owners to purchase a few basic sun loungers for occupancy use, this would be a fantastic apartment - PERFECT. I highly recommend this apartment.
