The Garden Room

The room was perfect, had everything you needed. Tea, coffee station was well stocked and thoughtful gestures such as wine glasses, a selection of DVD films, coat hooks by the door didn't go unnoticed. The shower was great and I loved the shampoo and conditioner. The garden which I had a morning stroll in was beautiful and had it been warmer, I would have happily had my breakfast on the little table overlooking it. The breakfast was spot on. It was brought in a beautiful basket by Caroline and included toast, warm croissant, fruit, bagel, fruit, yogurt and juice. Caroline was super and very helpful when my phones were not picking up the WiFi and sorted me out. Lastly the bed, it was super comfy and it was like sleeping in a cloud. I had a great night sleep.

I.had to park the car on the road a bit further up from the property but to be honest, thinking about ii, It was no further than a Hotel car park but it might not be suitable for everyone. So I wouldn't say I didn't like it as you do have the option to park outside the property to drop your bags off before parking up the lane which is very convenient. I loved my stay.

Breakfast was very good and garden was beautiful.

Lovely host & warm welcome. Exceptional & comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Exquisite breakfast on patio consisting of bagels/toast, yoghurt, fruit, pastries and tea/coffee/juice.

Excellent country retreat. Peaceful, restful and very welcoming.

We had a comfortable stay and a great night's sleep. The breakfast was lovely out on the patio with a selection from juice, pastries, toast, fruit, yoghurt and eggs each day brought out in a little basket! The location was great for exploring in all directions; Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury, Ilchester and Yeovil are in easy reach. Although compact, the garden room had perfect space for 2 people and all the right things for a short stay. Little touches in the room like guide books and DVDs were great. Caroline was a great host and we would definitely book one of her accommodations again.

Beautiful and comfortable this property is a must if you like nature and peace. Loved sitting out in the garden enjoying the stunning scenery of the garden and beyond. We stayed when it was super hot outside but were pleasantly surprised the room remained cool perfect for a great nights sleep on a super comfy bed.

Loved everything, just a pity its not dog friendly as we would normally have the dog with us.
