Loft del Teatro

This is a beautifully decorated recently renovated apartment in the heart of Ortigia just steps from the Teatro and the duomo as well as many restaurants and coffee shops. It has a full kitchen, laundry room and flat screen TV. There is also a comfortable pull out couch that will sleep two. And AC/Heating units both upstairs and down. We spent six weeks here and if we ever come back to Ortigia this is the first place I'll look to see if it is available.

Some people have made negative comments about the stairs. Yes, the do make a bit of creaking noise when going up and down but they are rock solid and nothing to fret about.

A very clean and charming apartment, thoughtfully decorated with many lovely details that make it feel warm and welcoming. It's located on a peaceful street, yet just steps away from the lively heart of the neighborhood, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The atmosphere in the apartment is truly delightful—calm, cozy, and full of character. We felt right at home and had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience.

It was well equipped. Bed was comfortable.

It is on a busy street and the neighbours were quite noisy at times. Noisy staircase. There was little information about the property itself eg washing machine info in English, though there was details of restaurants and bars. Communication with the owner was difficult. A safe is provided but it was locked and despite requesting the key, it was not supplied.

Low support from the staff when I highlighted that the coffee machine wasn’t working. The loudspeaker wasn’t working either…
