Firefly Treehouse Cafe and Bar

So many adorable dogs and cats are there. The owner is so kind and friendly. Their meals are also great and not too expensive.

Quiet spot near a great little waterfall, amazing service, great food and some awesome fireflies. And the dogs.

It lived up to its name, I have never seen that much firefly in my whole life! Terry is so accomodating and went beyond with our needs. It is indeed a great way to escape the crowdy place in busy streets of Siquijor.

The best place I stayed in the Philippines! A true breath of fresh air! Terry and Lea are amazing people! Their dogos are the cutest! The food is super cheap and delicious! Their space is unreal! So relaxing and super chill - away from everyone! Fun to dip in waterfalls at sunrise, meet locals, and be under the stars! Wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Absolutely nothing!

The owner was a genuinely kind person. There is a cafe on site with really good food and coffee/cocktails. The best part about the stay was the short walk to the waterfall on the property. It’s open to the public for a fee but free if you stay at Firefly. We went down early in the morning for a lovely dip in the cool water before anyone else got there. Adorable dogs and cats onsite too!

Lea and Terry are great hosts. The hut is simple but sufficient. This place invites you to relax in the hammock or the lagoon that is just 5 minutes away. Very chilled vibes, very good food.

The host Terry was so kind and accomodating, the location is unbeatable, the waterfall is so close and you can go there to cool down whenever you feel like it! We loved our stay here, the cafe is also really nice which is an added plus!!

Nothing, all I can say is bring insect repellent, because the location is next to a fresh water source there are some little biting bugs!

Wow!!! for the price, this place is a steal! the owners terry and lea are so kind, helpful and bring a great energy to the place. The bungalow is small but comfortable and i found the fan to be more than enough. They provide towels, as well as multiple outlets, a mosquito net and even a hammock right outside your door! There is hot water and good affordable food. They have starlink wifi (fastest wifi ive ever used). Theres a waterfall with a 5m jump and rope swing right down the steps which you have to yourself for most of the day. At night, there are tons of fireflies and you can see the stars very clearly, its incredible! The area is really nice to just chill and have a peaceful getaway.

the location on google maps isn’t accurate, you have to take a dirt road from there which is quite difficult to drive, especially after its been raining. its about 10 minutes to the main road. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re a good driver or prepared to get tuktuks. Make sure you put the padlock on the door because one day the dogs got into the room!
