GBRowena met us with the keys, and what a lovely lady. She made us feel very welcome and showed us into The Old Library and what a beautiful place. Warm and Cosy and spotlessly clean. Lots of special touches which made us feel at home, Rowena went above and beyond to make our stay Perfect, and indeed it was. Thankyou !

GBThe whole property was better than we imagined with all we needed for a 2 night break catered for. It’s set in a beautiful location with a short walk to Castle Combe but also gives a great parking option. Rowena met us as we arrived and explained a couple of things, she had also sent a list of local places of interest which we used to plan one of our days with trips to local pubs, the Salutation arms was our favourite and Allington Farm shop. The whole place is stunning and peaceful and the greeting of the peacocks and peahens both mornings gave us quite a giggle! They have made every effort to make the place home from home and we much preferred it to a hotel room with so much space. We plan to visit the area again next year so will book another visit soon.

USThe Old Library in Castle Combe is such a fun and memorable property! We were greeted by peacocks on arrival, setting a whimsical tone for our stay. The accommodations were spectacular—more spacious than expected, with plenty of cozy spots to relax. The upstairs bedroom is a delight, with high ceilings, charming bookshelves, and a super-comfy bed. The kitchen combines modern amenities with a charming farmhouse feel. The hosts went above and beyond to address a small issue, making us feel truly cared for. Highly recommend for an enchanting stay.
