The Green House

The Green House is in the perfect location and the huge decking area takes full advantage of this giving you a perfect view of the Isle of Skye across Kyle Rhea - keep your eyes peeled for seals and porpoise. The house itself is well equipped with everything you could need for cooking, eating, relaxing and then there's the log burner, bath and super cosy bed. The Glenelg Inn is 10 minutes walk (with good food and drink), there is a ferry crossing to Skye within 10 minutes drive and there are too many things to do and see nearby to mention. Overall a brilliant base with equally brilliant hosts and I would strongly recommend a visit.

Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views across to the Isle of Skye.

It's a piece of paradise. The views are amazing and the cabin is super cozy. Huge deck with breathtaking views, saw seals & dolphins. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Its away from the major tourist streams. Ideal for a relaxing stay to relax and recharge.

Glenelg has very limited infrastructure. The one pub we went to, was neither very welcoming nor friendly. So we visited only once and choose wonderful alternatives elsewhere. So be aware of a bit driving to get to restaurants. But that pub and it's unfriendly staff shouldn't take away any credit for the Greenhouse. Therefore 10/10 for Poppy & Iain, and their Greenhouse, they are amazing!

Wow! What a view! The Green House faces the mountains of Skye and the view is spectacular. Everything you need is provided. We stayed six nights. Glenelg is very isolated with one very small shop and a pub, so stock up with everything you need!

The view and location was absolutely perfect. Had everything we needed and honestly couldn’t find a fault even if I wanted to. The cost of this little gem is so worth it and more that I’ve booked again for the next available dates they had. (Which is not many given how popular this place is)

Great location very clean all high spec equipment.

Tv aerial point broken and poor signal. New coaxial plug only costs about£1.99, easy to repair. Seating is fixed in a corner. 2 comfy chairs which could be moved to enjoy the views may be a good idea

A real hideaway. Stunning views, plenty of room, great place to relax, close to fantastic Glenelg Inn and a craft brewery The Dun Inn a few miles up the road. Made more special with 4 days of cloudless skies

Being difficult to reach was one of the attractions. Initial instructions could have been clearer though
