Location

I think you need to spend a little more money on two decent pillows. The bed is an important piece of furniture for any holiday,so please don’t skimp on something as important as a good night’s sleep. Other than that it’s all good!

"Best stay in a three week drive around Scotland"

We spent some three weeks travelling in Scotland and stayed at a number of B&B's guest houses and hotels and the Green House was by far our best experience. Location - brilliant from the outside deck you looked across the water to Skye; it was an extremely comfortable house with a large fully equipped kitchen (with a washing machine/dryer - a God send for smelly shirts). The bedroom/lounge overlooked the water and Skye and there was even a bath hidden in a large chest at the foot of the bed. We had intended to stay 3 nights but an unexpected commitment meat we only had 2 nights - could easy spend a week or more. Don't be put off by the apparent remoteness of Glenelg after surviving yet another narrow Scottish road into Glenelg the scenery is great and Glenelg still boasts an original small car ferry for the 5 minute or so trip across to Skye. The local pub puts on a pretty good dinner.

Could not fault this place
