The Old Cottage

The host was extremely kind and provided a lot of great recommendations. The appartment was pretty and well located to visit Doolin, the cliffs and the Burren.

The bed was a bit rattly.

Die Kommunikation mit Elaine war wirklich super nett. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr alt mit dicken Mauern, dass hat mir sehr gefallen. Dadurch ist es natürlich etwas klein und beengt, aber aber die Technik und das Bad ist modern.

Our host was wonderfully welcoming, thoughtful and made lots of great recommendations for places to visit, eat, experience in and around Doolin and also our onward stops which were all brilliant. The traditional music was wonderful and access to the Aran Islands incredibly easy for a day trip.

Nothing l didn’t like but for others, the cottage isn’t really in walking distance to the town but we had a car so it wasn’t a problem for us.

The location was great. We rented a car in Shannon and the countryside drive to this cottage was such a breath of fresh air after our stay in Dublin. It's right up the road from Doolin, where we walked the Cliffs trails and saw some stunning views.

Nous avons apprécié notre entrée indépendante ainsi que le hall qui agrandissait bien le logement. Notre hôte était charmante et très sympathique. Lors d'une coupure de courant, elle nous a fourni immédiatement une batterie d'appoint très utile, par exemple. La maison est en dehors du village au calme.

I had a wonderful stay, the host was very friendly and helpful, giving me tons of advice for things to do during my stay and even driving me into town! The house and garden are absolutely lovely, Can't wait to come back!
