Batik Oma House

The location is OK, you're very near to a supermarket, so if you want to grab a snack or water you just go downstairs, you're also close to the train station (you can walk but if you have bags I recommend you take a Gojek because you have to cross difficult roads without any crosswalk and sidewalks are difficult and sometimes, not existent). The staff is very, very nice! The room is comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is also very fast. The price is excellent for what they offer.

The location is very, very close to a mosque. I'm a heavy sleeper and I woke up every single night at 4h30 because of the loud prayers before sunrise, which messes up the quality of sleep of the guests. Also, the window blinds allow light to come in, so at 6h30 am you're waking up because of the light. But then again, the price is very good and the room is comfortable!

The bedroom didn't have a window to outside, it was a window to the stairs and it was not possible to block the light.

Location was OK--close to the train station but didn't realize there were no restaurants or cafes nearby. None that I saw anyway. This wasn't anyone's fault, but there was a crazy guest yelling in his room one night. Thankfully staff came to quiet him down but it did take a while!

Great location near the train station and above a convenience store, very useful. Easy to get a taxi around. good price.

There is a Mosque next door, so the morning call to prayer will wake you up if you are a light sleeper but no issue for us as it's hard to avoid on Java
