Batik Oma House

Great location- few minutes walk from the station and the night market. Staff are nice and helpful. We tried staying in a few hostels nearby, they offer the same price range but this one is the best.

They forgot to empty the trash from the previous guest but we did super early check in so it’s not a big deal. You can hear trains honking at night

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They also helped us with the contacts of a super driver that was affordable and very nice as a person. Cleanliness was relatively okay, with older bed sheets and a minimal bathroom, but it was enough for us.

It is very close to a mosque and you can hear the call to prayer very loudly at around 4 a.m. It is very loud, but we knew that before booking so we were prepared.

The bed was really comfy and there was a hot and powerful shower. Friendly and helpful staff who were able to arrange an affordable laundry service, and also offered to clean the room every day with clean towels etc. it's located right above a convenience store which was very helpful. The wifi was also brilliant.

The hotel is located right next to a mosque with speakers that you can hear extremely loudly in the room. This isn't something the hotel can control, and they were very happy to move us to a room further away from the speakers when I needed to work, but worth noting!

Single bedroom is not recommended as it has connecting door, clearly heard the noise from next room.

The room is very clean, especially the bathroom. The bed is comfortable. They offer full facilities, including air conditioner, water boiler, towels, and a good shower... and all in good condition. The location is close to the train station and there is one Indo market downstairs which is very convenient. The staff is friendly and super helpful. I feel warmly welcomed in Yogjakarta. Strongly recommend.

I would say it is perfect with this price.
