"Lovely property in quiet spot with great hosts"

Hosts Deb and Kevin were very nice and approachable, very happy to assist in any way -- we had a friend visit and they offered us an extra dining chair and other amenities if we needed them. They also helped with dining and touring tips. The property was very well appointed with an excellent kitchen, comfy lounge area and bathroom, with fields around and in a quiet area. It was only a short drive to a Park & Ride into York city, which was very handy.

The bed was rather small and uncomfortable for the two of us.

"It was an enjoyable stay in Decca Cottage."

It was a lovely cosy cottage which was well laid out and modern. It was a perfect location for exploring in and around York and we loved to see the horse in the fields and the dogs. It had everything you needed and we felt very taken care of.

Warm, Clean, perfect decoration, well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and bedroom, very convenient location for York and walking in the dales. Very pleasant host and hostess.

The cottage was well maintained, clean, and very cosy. The owners went above and beyond with their generousity of welcome goodies and were very helpful. Very peaceful location with good links to transport to nearby attractions.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay .

Exceptional cottage in a beautiful location. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming. The cottage was larger than it looked, and contained absolutely everything you need for a home away from home. It was a perfect base to explore both York and the surrounding countryside.
