The Craft House

This stay was perfect for us! It was an easily accessible room, clear communication with the host and wonderful location. We went from the beach to the river with plenty to do all around.

There really wasn't anything terrible. Maybe more water to be provided to guests who have longer stays.

Honnêtement les hôtes sont sympas. Ils répondent à tous les messages donc c’est cool. C’est bien situé. Moins de 1km à pieds de riverwalk donc gros plus.

Le lit était mais horrible !!! Heureusement que c’était 1 seule nuit. Que j’étais seule et complètement fatiguée de mon vol pour avoir envie de dormir sinon ça ne passait pas. Vraiment je pense mes mots. Le matelas est horrible. C’est sale. J’ai tout ramassé sous mes pieds. Poussière partout. Vraiment c’est pas jouable de faire comme ça quand on loue. Ils sont très sympas mais ça ne suffit pas du tout à mon sens.

The location was good for walking the downtown area. It was very difficult to locate the entrance. At night very, very dark with no lighting to access entrance. The host was exceptionally rude. It was so dimly lit in the twilight hours, I could not access the keylock pad. The host came to open the door and promptly slammed it in my face. After a slight direction. Continually berated me for cigarette smoke. I was in a designated smoking area. Although, I had to endure his Marijuana smoke all evening.

I would not book again.

It was convenient to downtown riverwalk.

Wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. One of the owners was outside smoking marijuana on the front steps when we arrived. And didn’t even introduce himself and make us feel welcome into there home. The bathroom wasn’t very clean when we arrived. I had to have the owners clean it. The back porch near our room was covered in leaves and sticks. The bed wasn’t very soft and the mattress didn’t quite fit the bed so we kept loosing our pillows behind the bed each night.

Great location & seamless experience - instructions for check in, wifi, etc. very clear. Walkable to downtown and waterfront was a huge plus.

Soundproofing isn't great (it's an old house) so could hear owners' music/some conversation. They respected quiet hours though so no real problems if you're not trying to nap during the day.

I liked that there was water in the room, i’m hoping it was fresh though, not knowing how long it had been there made me nervous. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. Thank you for providing towels!

The bathroom definitely needs to be cleaned. There were dead moths on the floor, and mold and mildew stains on the walls of the shower and the shower curtain. Also, the neighbors didn’t seem friendly, they would stare at me so strangely, I felt like I was in an episode of Black Mirror.
