Heidl Guest House partner with Grampian Hotel

Bedroom & shower-room had been recently refurbished. Powerful twin shower heads. Plenty hot water, good strong toilet flush. Very comfortable bed, spotless bed linen & towels. Tasty breakfast, with a good selection of cereals, fruit, & juices.

TV too complicated to navigate, couldn't get any terrestrial channels. No bedside lamp or chair, a foldable one would have been acceptable, as there was no room for a standard chair.

Breakfast better than Premier Inn, good selection of food. Location very good for my needs. Room contained a good selection of condiments. Staff were helpful ie carried some bags to room and asked if our stay was good.

The road traffic was a little bit noisy at times when trying to sleep.

Das Personal war freundlich, das Frühstück gut und das Essen im angeschlossenen Restaurant (indisch) sehr lecker und nicht teuer.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten. Eine Bettlampe war Fake, gar nicht angeschlossen.

Staff were friendly and beds comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful.

It was clear there was insufficient staff. The bathroom had a strong mildew smell and had minor maintenance requirements (broken shower door handle etc). The internet was very poor. No towels provided (we discovered this late in the evening and had to go and request them from next door.

It´s a simple hotel so the room wasn`t fancy or anything. But all we needed was all there and the price was very reasonable. Food - as well as the evening meal in the restaurant as the breakfast were very good. Especially the evening meal (Indian) was delicious! we can only recommend to eat in-house.

all ok. Only parking is a bit tricky. There is a car park but it´s somewhat small.

Geen deur in de kast. Geen ramen die veilig zijn, in het ene kozijn zat een scheur aan de scharnier, dus het raam kon er zo uitvallen. Het raam in de douche ging niet dicht. De gordijnen waren niet schoon, nachtlampjes die niet aangesloten zijn op het elektriciteitsnet. Een bed dat doorgezakt is en kraakt. Afspraken niet nakomen, omdat wij hier echt niet gingen overnachten hebben wij geannuleerd. Volgens het hotel zouden wij het geld terug krijgen, dat zou onderling geregeld worden met Booking.Com. Wij hadden jammer genoeg al betaald, want ze reageren nu op geen enkel mailtje meer van Booking.Com. Mijn advies is bekijk hier eerst je kamer voordat je betaald, plus dat de klantenservice van booking.com voor ons in dit geval totaal niets heeft kunnen doen. Zij hebben 4x een mail gestuurd naar het hotel en die reageren niet. Nu is het dus aan ons om contact te zoeken met hun, maar ik ben klant van Booking.com, dus vind ik het niet aan mij, dit vind ik een taak van de klantenservice. Als goede klant van Booking.com vind ik dit een zware tegenvaller.
