A single bed. Ease of going out and in. Accepted the rooms needed renovation as explained by the owner. Everything spotless clean.

Shower was poor to operate. I could not get any hot water from it.

friendly and hospitable hosts, lovely friendly pub which are hard to find today , a pleasurable stay all-round

no food served at certain times of the year so had to go to another pub in the village , otherwise a great stay , should have mentioned this on the booking

Friendly reception, beautifull old building, a real pub. Small but good room.

Poor WiFi. Poor connection to Motorway. Shower ok but not great. Small amount of water from dodgy showerhead.

"Very pleasant short stay."

Good food and ale. Adorable dog Charlie - she was full of energy.

No side plates at breakfast made it difficult to butter the toast.
