The staff were v attentive. The room. The food was v good and eve meal if u wished to purchase one. Local bus to Dawlish n Teignmouth u could leave Yr car in their car park.

Owners were very friendly and welcoming and had obviously worked hard on refurbishing.

I was surprised I was told I couldn’t buy a tea to have outside until the kitchen opened.

The Steal Night was was excellent as was all other meals.

Owners were very accommodating, room was very clean, having breakfast included was a bonus.

The pub was very cosy and the room was fine. We were told that they still had work to do in the rooms and new tvs to install. The bathroom needed a new shower but it was going to be done but it worked perfectly well as it was. The owners were very easy to get on with and friendly.

Friendly and helpful hosts. Alison gave the most thorough introduction to the property of anyhere that I have ever stayed - pointing out the emergency evacuation route, and explaining the code lock on the door as well as other useful information. Wide choice of breakfast options, with breakfast cooked to order very quickly. The room was equipped as advertised, with the bonus of a nice fan, which was much appreciated as it had been a very warm day. Bed was very comfortable. :)

The only negative was the noise, which delayed my getting to sleep, even though I was really tired from my journey (I found that I couldn't wear my noise-cancelling earbuds as long as I would have liked!). Alison did apologise in advance that they had an event on the night I was there, but unfortunately, my room was directly above the main part of the pub, plus several patrons were talking very loudly outside. However, this is always a possibility when booking a room at a pub, so I would not consider this to be a fault of the hosts.

Staff really friendly and helpful, Breakfast was nice and the meal in the evening was good and great value for money.
