Casa Xtao Hotel

El hotel muy limpiio, mucho mejor que en las fotos. Con aire acondicionado, cocina y refrigerador. Un cuarto muy amplio, el baño también, ubicado en una zona muy tranquila, con restaurantes, tiendas y lugares para comer alrededor,. Un super precio para el estupendo lugar que ofrecen. Gracias por las atenciones.

El hotel es bueno, cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar una estadía agradable, habitaciones amplias con buenos acabados, las escalinatas para llegar a las habitaciones pueden ser un poco empinadas por lo que no recomendable para personas con dificultades de movilidad, tampoco cuentan con estacionamiento y la zona no es nada turística. El personal es amable y facturan sin dramas.

The idea is nice. A modern, simple studio with the basics you need.

Unfortunately, only the idea is nice. This hotel is focused on control and money and keeping their property as “clean” as possible without any attention on a good client service. The space of the hotel looks open for where the general area and balcony’s are in the open air. Still, it’s all closed and so is the feeling of staying here. They put too much attention on rules around how you need to behave and take care of your room but 0 attention on the experience of the client. You aren’t allowed to smoke in the open air on your balcony or the general area, but the main door of the hotel is closed after 11pm untill 7am in the morning. How a client can get out between this hours, is unknown. This would all get a different touch, if the receptionists and owner were nice and client service focused but they aren’t. A small “hello” is all you get when you cross them, if you greet first by yourself. In the meantime they are just watching the screen of all the camera’s, keeping a close eye on what you are doing and don’t try to leave the property without a control of how you left the room. I am a clean person myself but this went too far. I didn’t feel welcome and it’s obvious they don’t like tourists/visitors from other places. At arrival there wasn’t any hot water and despite more complains of also other clients: not one of the workers put any effort to solve this. Later, a hurricane arrived: instead of keeping any eye on the clients, or informing them or something, the owner was busy protecting the big screen televisions. Not any attention for the clients themselves.

Casa Xtao was so gross I tried to cancel the remaining nights of my reservation but it was prepaid and Booking.com wouldn't refund my money. This hotel is sketchy, filthy and the staff are awful. Truly the worst hotel experience I've ever had.
