"Perfect stay in Burnsall"

The property was the perfect size for a stay in the dales. The kitchen was very well stocked and everything was so clean and the design really sharp. Would def stay again.

Henry’s Cottage is a hidden gem in one of our favourite places in the Yorkshire Dales! Full of character, tastefully decorated, super comfy and spotlessly clean! Excellent communication throughout from Alice. Thank you for the fresh eggs and milk!

"Exceptional"

Lovely cottage in a great location for the dales. We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding in the village and it was so convenient to be right across the road. Alice and Ian are very nice hosts, we didn't get the chance to meet but they were very easy to communicate with always answering any questions quickly, they even let us arrive early to get ready for the wedding. I loved how tastefully the rooms have been renovated with the exposed stone walls and beams. It's cosy, but the open feel makes it spacious. The place had everything we needed and a super comfy bed and excellent shower! Lovely walks right from the cottage, we also visited Parcevall Hall Gardens, which were well worth it. Wish we could have stayed longer, would definitely come back!

"Beautiful cottage!"

Very well presented cottage, perfectly comfortable and cosy. Amazing mattress and pillows, modern tv with streaming channels, perfect amount of space for 2 people.

We were unlucky to have a wedding party going on until 4AM (!!!) at the village hall next to the cottage, and we could hear the relentless ‘tunz tunz tunz’ of their music, keeping us awake. The bathroom door doesn’t shut all the way so be prepared for less than 100% privacy 😂

"Wonderful short break"

The cottage was lovely. A mixture of modern with and character of its previous use as a barn. Fixtures and fittings are good as is the location to the river walks and nearby pub and cafe. The owners were lovely and made us feel really welcome. We will be returning.
