I liked the location. That’s all.

This was honestly the worst stay I’ve ever had in Eastbourne. From the moment we arrived, everything went wrong. There was nobody at the entrance, and we had to ring the bell multiple times before the receptionist finally opened the door. He seemed completely uninterested and unprofessional. The problems continued immediately. The heating was blasting throughout the building despite the weather being around 28°C outside. Our room was even worse — the heating was on full, the room smelled disgusting, the toilet looked like it was rotting, and the bed was broken and sinking in the middle. There wasn’t even a remote control for the TV. The reception area constantly felt chaotic and unwelcoming. The receptionist often appeared distracted, sometimes hanging around with friends, eating strongly smelling food in the lobby, playing games, or even sleeping during working hours. When we asked for a fan because the room was unbearably hot, we received it almost 12 hours later. The bathroom situation was unacceptable. There was barely any water pressure in the toilet, and at one point we had to ask people in other rooms if we could use their bathroom instead. Overall, this place was dirty, poorly managed, uncomfortable, and extremely disappointing . I would never stay here again and would strongly advise others to avoid it.

Filthy dirty. Not a hotel. More like a hostel. Bathroom was disgusting. Bottom of the toilet bowl was black. Filthy ceiling tiles. Hairs on the bed. Carpet stained. Under counter fridge next to the bed. Brown tatty curtains at the window. Vomit stains down the fire door.

Walls are kinda thin so you can hear a lot.

The price for the room was reasonable, and I have no major complaints about the room itself, which was comparatively clean.

The overall environment outside the room was disappointing. There was a very strong and constant smell of marijuana, and the stairs were dirty and untidy. During the night, there was a fight in the room next to ours, with loud shouting, swearing, and banging for a long period of time. There appeared to be no staff or security available to deal with the situation, which felt quite frightening. As a result, we were unable to sleep properly throughout the night. We were also three guests but were only provided with two towels, and the toilet was not flushing properly.
