Sea Shell Hotel

The only thing I can say I liked was the room. It was clean, and it had a cosy vibe.

Unfortunately, I was made to feel very uncomfortable during my stay at the hotel. One of the staff members looked at me inappropriately and proceeded to try and put something in one of my coat pockets without my consent. The website was extremely misleading as it states that staff are present on site 24 hours but they shut the staff room throughout the day, and during the evening. Their lobby was very bare, and the dining area had a broken bed propped up. There was no kitchen so food wasn't prepared, made, or available at all on site. The toilet that was just a foot away from my room was open constantly, was cluttered with cleaning equipment and the staff left dirty bedding next to the wall of the toilet door. They don't give you enough toiletries for the length of your stay. The paint was peeling off the windowsill and the mattress on the bed had disgusting stains. I don't believe they charge a fair price due to the hotel being very basic, and the staff weren't pleasant or approachable. I would not recommend anyone stay at the Seashell Hotel.

It is the perfect location however very dirty.

Urine on the floor and other hairs in and around the bathroom, stains all over the chairs. Mattress did not fit the bed and was sat on the bottom of the footboard bent up. The stairs and corridors look like theyve never been hoovered and the 3rd floor stinks of canabis smoke and drugs. Very undesirable and could probably use a police presence. Window is broken and falling out in the living area. If it wasnt for the fact the bedding was actually clean and there was no where else to stay we would have not even stayed the first night. Checked out first thing in the morning and would never return.

The hotel is a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment, especially the rooms and furniture. However, the location is excellent and very convenient for shops, restaurants, and public beach.

What disappointed us was that we accidentally left our quite expensive Columbia thermos bottle at reception when checking in, but when we later asked about it, it was no longer there. As the hotel is locked and reception is limited to guests and staff, this was frustrating.

I like the location it needs work

The staff are accusing me of their keys I do not have the door key and when I arrived nobody even opened the door. I am not sure they like women and they are not really helpful. I am not sure what is going on with the cleaning in the bathroom it is quite filthy and it definitely needs painting the whole room, carpet and chairs are filthy with period and blood on them and shit.

Very Good Location. Friendly and Helpful Manager (Alex) Very Spacious Room A Fridge and A Fan - which I wasn't expecting - but for which I was extremely grateful on what was a hot day. Very comfortable bed. A great night's sleep. Really good value for money.

Old fashion, poor hotel

I chose the cheapest hotel for 2 nights. Very nice location.Heater got the room warm.Internet worked well.Utube option and Tv channels.Bed was comfortable

From my room on 3rd floor i could hear everything happening next door and the pigeons.Seagulls i like. Floor was very noisy.Whoever was downstairs, might have suffered.Water pressure was low in the sink and the light in the bathroom kept flashing,but at the same time you never know when they stop working
