Airport in walking distance. Advice: leave/board long distance trains at Dakshineswar instead of KOAA if possible in order to bypass the traffic jams in the city center.
No change available when I paid 1940 Rs in cash with 2000 Rs. So I asked for a small bottle of Coke in the fridge near the reception to make it easier and the receptionist confirmed that this was a good idea. When checking out for my early flight at 4:15 am next morning the guy at the reception tried to charge the bottle again ;-) which is not in line with the excellent staff behavior. I didn't pay the bottle again, of course.
