Bella's Cottage

A beautiful cottage, lovely furnishings and well equipped kitchen. We only used the double room which was comfortable with plenty of storage space. The garden was super pretty and the honeysuckle across the front of the cottage smelt devine! We had trouble finding the cottage at first and so Jamie the property manager came to find us which was really kind. Stiffkey is a great location to explore wider Norfolk from. During our stay we visited Wells Next the Sea, Holkham Hall, Burnham Market, Cromer and Blakeney.

My tall husband couldn't seem to remember that the frames on the stairs are low so took a couple of head bumps, maybe it will have knocked a little sense into him! The lighting in the living room is quite dim but we like ot cosey so it didn't trouble us.

The location was good

The master bedroom sheets were dirty in 2 places and the dust and grime behind the bed was disgusting. The Nespresso coffee machine didn’t work.

Parking is limited and on a first come first served basis.

This is a delightful cottage in a very nice part of the country. There's a nice garden at the front with a table well-shielded from the road by a tall hedge. Great for eating outdoors. The cottage has been nicely modernised and had everything we needed. Seaside towns and delightful villages are all nearby, and there are nice walks on the doorstep.

The space is a little cramped, not unusual for older properties. There is just about room for tall people to sit around the table in the living/dining room but it does compromise access to and from the kitchen. Not an insuperable problem. Luckily the weather was mostly good so we ate outside.
