The Chill River-Boutique Villa

The location is pretty good, it is walking distance from the main area. The facilities are brand new and everything works perfectly. Will was super attentive and helpful with tips and accommodating our needs. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom has a bathtub!

The room was very nice, spacious and had plenty of natural light - just like in the photos if not better! Location was perfect as it was only 10mins walk from the centre. The host William was also very helpful and friendly, giving great advice to first timers in Siem Reap

Great location, close to the city but in a very quiet area. Nice, large, clean room with a private balcony.

We arrived late via tuktuk and owner argued with tuktuk driver for 5 minutes then spent 10 minutes showing us around our room which was a bit much and then was very quiet and hardly said a word for the rest of our stay, also no house keeping which can be an issue after a few nights. Owner also laughed at us when we asked him to remove a lizard from the room.

Clean. Reasonably comfortable mattress. Good air con and fan. Very quiet area (except for barking dogs through the night). No bright lights shining into my room at night. Very friendly and nice proprietor who organised my TukTuk for Angkor and helped me out with information and finding things I needed in the area like laundry and food. Vegan restaurant across the street was a huge bonus.

Only one very thin pillow. Only one very thin, small towel. TV didn’t operate correctly (managed to log in to Netflix but could not navigate it and couldn’t ever manage to log out). No bedside lamp. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Shower sprayed out of the bathtub and I had to hold it in hand to use it. Internet a bit unstable. Garden area not nearly as nice as it appears in the photos.

Very helpful and friendly owner. Opposite an extremely good vegetarian restaurant. Very stylish furniture, lots of space, in a quiet side alley.

The tuktuk drive from the airport was very bad. The driver got bribed in an aggressive situation, the tuktuk amongst tipped over and he ran out of gas and we had to lend him money. We recommend to take the bus or a car instead.

The place was super clean, very quiet and with a lot of space. The owner helped me all the time to organize part of my trip, gave me tips to visit around.

Everything was perfect

Everything! Room was fabulous; very large, spotlessly clean, huge double bed, desk and chair, built in wardrobe, TV and an ensuite bathroom with a bath, shower, clean white towels, and organic toiletries . There was a huge private balcony with table and chairs in addition to a communal terrace. Mosquito screens, and very effective air conditioning. William the owner friendly and helpful.
