Very friendly people that speak English and a unique location at the lake.

Incredibly family-run homestay right by a gorgeous lake. Very peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for for after staying in busy Hanoi Comfy beds, private parking, very secluded, has everything you need. Plus, one of the best meals we’ve had in Vietnam!

The location on the lake is so beautiful, the host and his family so welcoming, the home cooked food was delicious.

Three of us stayed at this Homestay recently, and quite enjoyed the experience. It is situated on a lake and our host Giang was there at all times to welcome us and look after us. The Bungalows we had were functional and fairly clean, although the windows could have done with a clean on the outside. The beds were softish by Vietnamese standards and the shower hot. The evening meals we had, were basic but good, as was breakfast. As a final note, we were unsure of the condition of the roads leading to the home stay ... however the main road has been recently resurfaced into a nice 2-lane highway and the road leading to the home stay has been concreted, apart from the last few meters which is a gravel track. In summary I would not describe this as luxury, but is a nice quiet retreat, at a reasonable price and would recommend.

I stayed in a private bungalow that was large, modern with hardwood floors and a big clean modern bathroom. Balcony right on the lake so the view was amazing. The staff were helpful and the whole place was mellow, relaxing and friendly and they had created an atmosphere where the guests talked and enjoyed each others company. Sunset boat tours of the lake are offered by the owner. The meals were excellent, easily as good as restaurant quality and plenty of it. Fresh fish from the lake, a selection of grilled meat, plenty of vegetables form their own farm including brocolli, carrots potatoes, corn etc etc etc. Google Maps shows the location away form the lake but the water level was good and it is lakefront.

The location is breathtaking! It seemed like it would be so easy to get there from Hanoi but after messaging them, the property quickly helped us find the right bus. It was a much needed escape from the chaotic life of Hanoi and a great opportunity to know a less touristic, more authentic, rural Vietnam. The food was good, activities were nice, and the family that welcomed us to their homestay was amazing. Will definitely come back if we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again!

The host family where extremely accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed an awesome dinner with the Host and made some new travelling friends along the way. The views from the property of the lake were superb and the place is extremely tranquil.

Such a beautiful stay right on the lake where you can swim and chill. There are beautiful blooming flowers that attracts the most amazing assortment of butterflies . The owner and his wife were so warm and welcoming to me including dinner inviting to join them for dinner. I also got taken out on a private boat tour at sunset and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I stayed in the dorm room which had a comfortable mattress and mosquito net. It is a traditionally built homestay in the fact the dorm room there are gaps between walls and ceilings which personally is something i love as it feels I am more at one with nature. But for anyone who wants a bit more comfort I was told by other guests that their private rooms are also great! it's a really great way to get a good experience of vietnamese hospitality including a bit of happy water and karaoke ;). thankyou so so much
