Open space studio in Shawlands

The advert did not make it clear this was a 3rd floor flat with 7 flights of stairs, we have a lack of mobility - I did point this out and was told I should of noticed from the photographs, it doesn't need putting in the ad! The decor is very tatty and needs updating, makes the place feel grubby and dirty. Due to lack of mobility one of us couldn't stay there due to stairs. Contacted the owner and booking.com and the owners response was I could see there was 3 of you in there, the blinds are open so i can see you from another flat!!! Lovely to know you are spied on. the 2 people accompanying me was my son and his partner who has helped me up the stairs with my luggage. Overall a grim disappointing experience, not worth the money.

Checkout time was quite late at 12.00, which in the event suited us well.

It was a bit small; limited cooking facilities. We were hoping to have our daughter who lives nearby to have dinner, but really only space and kitchenware for two.

Fantastic apartment, very clean and homely. Will definitely use again.

Great location for a football match at Hampden

It was good for a short stay, maybe a little small for a longer stay. It was just take your chances when it came to parking on the street but we got a space ok.

It was quiet, comfy and clean, and it had some personality. For better than travel lodge prices, we found somewhere great to stay with a very comfy bed. I would book it again.

The host kindly provided a choice of hot drinks. However, whilst you'd think unlabelled teabags in a jar would be black tea, they were red berry fruit tea!

The flat is lovely! Very clean and comfortable too. It was perfect for an overnight stay in town to meet friends! The host was so nice and very communicative. The bed was super comfy too. Immaculate vibes 💕

Lovely shower, comfortable bed, quiet location . A quirky apartment. It felt like staying in someone's home. Only 2 miles from city centre. Responsive, friendly host.

Light over bed, switch not near bed. Superficially clean, but dusty skirting and frozen up freezer in fridge causing stuff in fridge to ice up. No table to put mugs on or eat at. Out of date milk in fridge.. no drainer for washing up or chopping board. A leaflet of advice about buses, trains, visitor attractions would have been appreciated

Maria was very responsive, with clear instructions on arrival, and the little snacks available at the bar are always pleasant! The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well equipped (a little bonus for having a hairdryer!). The only things missing were a dustbin in the bathroom and a small corner to put your toiletries, and the blinds are not completely blackout. The accommodation is a little bit far from the centre, but close to several bus stops, so getting around the centre is easy. Thanks again for the stay :)
