Open space studio in Shawlands

Was clean and has good beds with a kitchen to cook and radiators to keep us warm

Location wasn’t the best but we didn’t care

Overall, a good but basic stay. Felt safe and homey. Beds were comfortable, bath was small but had everything you need. Nice big windows. Host was responsive. Fairly easy to check in and get keys (had to go around building to get in). Not too far from city center/shops/other fun things to do (Burrell Collection is great).

No Wifi (feels like at this price point, it should be included, especially in the city), broken blinds (fell on us), minimal kitchen supplies but had the very basics, top floor, little hard to find the right building as Google Maps takes you to a different one, we weren't sure about parking but there was plenty on the street that seemed safe, apartment was pretty warm during our stay.

Comfy bed, kitchen space.

It needs a night light, or a means of turning the light off from the bed. The bed area was way too perfumed, it was overpowering.

A very quiet, clean, well equipped, spacious studio flat with parking, close to Queen's Park.

At 5'3" reaching some of the cupboards for items was a challenge! Fortunately, there was a wooden chair to clamber up on. The 3rd floor location was a bit of a struggle with luggage.

Clean and and funky studio close to shops and amenities everything there needed. Lots of natural light and bed was comfy, shower hot. Would stay again. Seems to be a very safe area.

There isn’t a lift so you will need to carry suitcases upstairs, but the too floor view was nice.

Lovely little flat with everything you need for an overnight stay. Clean and comfortable, with good communication. The location was excellent for my needs. Plenty of supplies generously included, such as toiletries, coffee, towels and even a welcome drink.

Could do with curtains as the blinds don't meet and it's impossible to get the space dark. The shower screen is too small and everything gets wet. The listing really should mention that it's up many flights of stairs. A couple of small changes would make a big improvement to an already good place to stay.

Great location, quiet area. Stayed the weekend to attend an event at Hampden which was about a 30 min walk away, saved queuing for public transport. Appartment bright, particularly liked the bar stools, more comfy than the sofa. With a few small improvements this would be a very good stay, I would return.

Facilities quite basic. Could do with more cutlery as there is only one of each. No small plates, only two bowls, two large plates. No toaster or oven/grill, only sandwich maker. No draining board. Couldn't get hot water in kitchen, had to boil kettle. Small shelf in bathroom would have been useful for toothbrushes etc. If these improvements are made I would definately stay here again.

Everything about this studio was a 10 . The apartment is spotless and very homely. Location is very quiet and had a great sleep in the comfy bed -a nice relaxing atmosphere in the studio. The host could not do enough for me , even left a small bottle of wine as a welcoming drink -nice touch Perfect location, close to restaurants and shops, on foot a matter of a short walk. I would not hesitate in recommending this accommodation

- great location - comfortable bed - the host was very responsive and seemed very nice - big windows, bright room during the day

- in need of TLC - no wifi (O2 reception wasn’t the best in the flat so wifi would’ve been great) - light in small hall wasn’t working - no towel rail or toiler paper holder (nowhere to hang your towel when going for shower or to leave for drying hands) - bathroom smelled of mould - the shower screen is too small, water goes everywhere while having a shower - holes in walls (i.e. by the bathroom sink, shower, hall) - the red rug beside the bed was dirty, doesn’t look aesthetically pleasing, probably best to just get rid of it - no bedside table by the bed to put a glass of water or phone - flat is very bright in the morning, it only has venetian blinds and half of them are broken/not working properly - flat doesn’t have central heating, there is a plug in electric radiator provided and windows are dated, so bear that in mind as it might be cool during winter months Overall the flat has a lot of potential and can be great for a few days away in Glasgow, however improvements have to be made. In my opinion, the flat is slightly overpriced at the moment with the current state of the facilities provided and overall aesthetics.
